 | WFO Bear Hunt offers ARCHERY ONLY MOOSE HUNT/ BLACK BEAR HUNT COMBO during the RUT in the fall. We have an excellent success rate since we only take a limited number of hunters. The archery season for moose in Northern Ontario is 3 weeks in length, thus limiting the number of 1x1 or 2x1 to 6 bowhunters. With such limited numbers of hunters coming through camp it is easy to see why our success rate is near 100%. A typical moose hunt lasts 9 days of 1x1 or 2x1 fully guided hunting. Your guides are very experienced in bowhunting moose and have taken several P&Y animals each. Our accommodations during your moose hunt will be a spike camp utilizing Outfitter Tents and comfortable cots for sleeping. The weather during this hunt can vary from 80 F to 32 F and snow, so come prepared for anything. If you do happen to forget something and the weather turns bad, Thunder Bay is only 1 hour away with a variety of sporting goods stores. |
